El colectivo artistiko KiltrV es la evolución del colectivo TDV (Taller De Volantines) gracias a la incorporación de 3 nuevos artistas. KiltrV deriva de la palabra quiltro que significa en mapudungun (idioma mapuche, pueblo originario de Chile jamas conquistado por los españoles) bastardo, perro de la calle, la V es la cifra romana 5 y tambien la letra A invertida por Artistas, Astucia, Anticonformistas, se refiere tambien a la integrante femenina del colectivo.
KiltrV representa una generación nacida con el fin de la dictadura del general Pinochet y quien creció bajo la égida de la democracia, democracia que en vez de instaurar justicia y paz social tan necesaria después de 18 años de dictadura sangrienta) se ha esforzado a perpetuar las desigualdades y la violencia (educación y salud privada, grandes problemas de violencias urbanas (debido al consumo de pasta base (derivado de la cocaína extremadamente adictivo) y a la pobreza), contaminación (Santiago o Santiasko es una de la 10 ciudades mas contaminada del mundo !), enriquecimiento perpetuo de las élites puesta en el poder por Pinochet etc.. todos los defectos del liberalismo mas extremo sin casi ninguna contrapartida meritocrática o social.
KiltrV nació con la meta de buscar una estetica que representa esa generación que tiene hoy en día entre 20 y 30 años, que es muy ligada a la metrópolis (6 millones de habitantes), multi étnica y cultural (fruto de las mezclas de los múltiples movimientos migratorios y de las diferentes etnias pre colombinas), progresista, innovadora, entretenida (el humor siendo una de la única armas del pueblo frente a la situación socio económica), que trasciende su herencia (muralista y política), y que asume su naturaleza a veces violenta pero siempre generosa y gigante (al igual que su geografía). Un plato picante pero con mucho savor...
Los V artistas son todos de Santiago de Chicle :
PIGUAN : 25 años, su estilo es abstracto y figurativo-
SANTANA : 29 años, representa la herencia del taller, es arquitecto y nieto de un pintor clásico muy reconocido en Chile.
(Ellos 2 componían el colectivo TDV.)
RAYNE3XL : 25 años, mezcla el realismo y el surrealismo inspirándose en el expresionismo sur americano.
NASKA : 22 años, especialista del flop y maga de los colores.
NEBS "el profe" PEREIRA : 29 años, mas de 15 años de experiencia en el grafitti, esta a cargo de los conceptos y de canalizar la energía del grupo.

Le collectif KiltrV (kiltr5) est la evolution du collectif TDV grace a la incorporation de 3 nouveaux artistes, KiltrV derive du mot 100% chilien Kiltro qui signifie en mapudugu (langue mapuche, ethnie pre-colombienne du sud du chili (jamais conquise par les espagnols)) batard, chien de la rue, la V est le chiffre romain 5 et aussi la lettre A a l envers pour artistes, astuce, anti-conformistes.....et aussi par respect pour l'integrante feminine du collectif. KiltrV represente une generation qui est nait avec la fin de la dictature du general Pinochet et qui a grandit sous l egide de la democracie, democracie qui au lieu d instaurer justice et paix sociale (tellement necesaire apres 18 ans de dictature sanglante) s est evertuée a perpetuer les inegalités et la violence (education et santé privé, gros problemes de violence urbaine dut a la pasta base (derivée de cocaine extremement adictif), polution (santiago ou santiasko est une des 10 villes les plus polluee au monde ! ) enrichissement perpetuel des elites mises au pouvoir par Pinochet etc... tous les defauts du liberalisme le plus extreme sans casi aucune contrepartie meritocratiques ou sociale.
KilrV est né dans le but de rechercher une estethique qui represente cette generation qui a aujourd hui entre 20 et 30 ans, profondement liée a la metropole (6 millions d habitants), multi-ethnique et culturelle (fruit des melanges des multiples mouvements migratoires et des differentes ethnies indiennes), progressiste, innovatrice, drole ( l humour etant une des seules armes du peuple face a la situation socio-economique), qui transcende son heritage (muraliste et politique) et qui assume sa nature parfois violente mais toujours genereuse et gigantesque (equivalent a son espace geographique). Un plat picant mais avec beaucoup de saveurs....
Les V artistes sont tous de Santiago de Chile:
-Piguan, peintre et graffeur, 25 ans, regorge d imagination, son style pictural est abstrait et figuratif.
-Santana, peintre, 29 ans, represente l'heritage classique et academique, il est architecte, petit-fils d un peintre classique tres reconnu au Chili.

-Rayne3xl, graffeur 25 ans, melange le realisme et le surealisme, s inspirant aussi de l expressionisme sud americain
-Naska, graffeuse 22 ans, est specialiste du flop mais surtout des couleurs, qu'elle utilise avec magie et beaucoup de puissance
Nebs "el profe" Pereira, 29 ans, comptant plus de 15 ans d experience de graffiti et de peinture, gere les concepts et canalise l energie du groupe....

Nebs : il a exposé a la bilbliotheque de Santiago, a l espace 59 (espace d exposition multidisciplinaire) et il expose actuellement au Mavi son projet "Memoria Latente" projet structuré autour d un paillason de raisin (qui represente la memoire) installé devant les principaux lieux de la dictature (centre de torture, palais presidenciel etc...) ou le paillason (et donc la memoire..) est ecrasé par les passant sans qu ils y prennent garde....
En plus des expositions ils participent tous aux nombreuses conferences de grafitti organisées a Santiago et Conception (2eme plus grande ville du Chili), conferences au cours desquelles ils ont montrés etre l'elite de la scene urbaine chilienne.

The group KiltrV is comprised of five of the best Chilean artists from the Street Art scene in South America. KiltrV comes from the Chilean wordKiltro, which in mapudugu means “stray dog” (mapuche a pre-Colombian language, has survived from an ethnic group in Southern Chile that was never conquered by the Spanish). And by this we mean the “dog” is intelligent and resourceful. The Roman numeral “V” symbolizes its 5 members and also the letter “A” turned upside down, which stands for shrewd artists, anti-conformist, and respect for the feminine member of the group.
KiltrV represents the generation born at the end of General Pinochet’s dictatorship, who then grew up under the aegis of Democracy, a democracy which instead of restoring justice and social peace (needed after nearly 18 years of bloody rulership), strived to perpetuate inequality and violence. Education and private health care were affected and a staggering urban violence grew due to a highly addictive drug, derived from cocaine, called “pasta base”. Add to this Santiago’s pollution (it is one of the 10 top most polluted cities in the world), the perpetual enrichment of the elite class put in power by Pinochet, and much much more, and you had all the makings of a liberalism run amok with hardly any social or merit based compensation for the individual.
Today Chilean artists have something to say! KiltrV strives for an aesthetic that presents this generation between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, as an integral part of Santiago’s metropolis of six million inhabitants, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural (thanks to a mixture of multiple cultural migrations and different Indian ethnic groups), progressive, innovative, and funny – humor is one of the sole weapons the populist has against a difficult social-economic situation. They have transcended their heritage of muralists and politics by accepting their sometime violent nature but always remaining generous and wide open to change – equal to the size of their country’s landscape or a like a spicy dish, hot but oh so rich in flavor….
All five artists are from Santiago, Chile:
Piguan – 25 yrs. old – painting and graffiti – his pictorial style is known and recognized throughout South America.
Santana – 29 yrs. old – painter/architect, and grandson of Arturo Santana Cuadra (a classist painter extremely well known in Chile). Santana represents this classism and academic heritage.
Rayne3xl – 25 yrs. old – graffiti – greatly inspired by South American Expressionism, mixes Realism and the Surrealism together.
Naska – 22 yrs. old – graffiti – a specialist of the ʺflopʺ style and a magician with the colors.
Nebs ʺthe professorʺ Pereira - 29 yrs. old – 15 years of painting and graffiti, the most conceptual of the group, he canalizes their very energies.

Nebs
A solo exhibit in the Santiago Municipal Library’s gallery “59” (a multi-disciplinary space) and a current showing at the MAVI with a project entitled “Memoria Latente”. Structured around doormats made from grapes (the grape represents the memory of Chile), they are placed in front of the principal entrance ways of the former dictatorship (torture chambers, Presidential Palace, etc.) or simply used as doormats, trampled upon by passersby (and thus their memories) without them being aware.
In conjunction with these expositions, all the artists have participated in numerous organized conferences about Street Art in Santiago and Conception (Chile’s second largest city), conferences in which they are showcased as the elite of the Chilean urban scene.
